Base Package

This package is made up with most of my wedding clients in mind. I have broken down all the requests and preferences of most of my clients over the past 8 years, and built this package up around what I have found that a majority of my clients need (excluding their post-wedding printing preferences).

Timeline: (Maximum of up to 6 hours and 24h00)

I arrive at the bride's house/room 1 hour before the ceremony (excluding travelling time), and stay until 2 hours after the bride and groom enter the reception.

A FREE (optional) engagement shoot before the wedding day at Blaauwberg beach.

I recommend this for those of you that are a little "camera shy", as it is a trial run of poses similar to those you will be expected to do on the wedding day. All engagement photos taken will be basically edited (such as light correction and basic touching up).

They will be burnt onto a High. Res CD, along with all your wedding photos. Please note: Any extra editing required from the engagement shoot photos ie for table settings or wedding décor or table sheets etc will be charged extra for according to your requirements. (If you are interested in this, please phone to book at least 2 months before your wedding day)

A High Resolution CD of all the photos taken on you wedding day.

Averages between 600 and 1000 photo's. This will also include all edited, black & white, sepia and mixed colour photos etc. Please Note: Shooting is in no way limited at the wedding, irrespective of which package extras you choose (or don't choose). The amount of photos received is entirely dependent on the wedding itself - taking this package alone does not in any way mean that you will be getting less photos in the same time as those taking with any optional extras.

Total Cost of Base Package R 5,500

(includes the R500 confirmation deposit)

 

Recommended Add-Ons

The following section is list of recommended extras for those clients that require advice on which optional extras will be best to add to the Base Package.

CanD B's recommended Time Add-on

I recommend adding one half hour before the ceremony for the getting ready photos, to make sure to get most of the hair and make-up being done, the getting dressed, as well as the bridal photos with her family etc… plus 1 hour after for the reception to make sure to cover all the formalities. Formalities very rarely go over 3 hours into the reception, and most are done within 2 to 2 and a half hours, leaving plenty of time to capture all the important moments.

Total time with this add on will then be 1 and a half hours before and 3 hours for the reception (plus everything else in between).

CanD B's recommended Printing Add-on

I recommend budgeting for approximately 150 10x15cm prints (jumbos), which is the average amount that clients will choose to print once they have viewed their photographss.

Cost for extra 150 10cmx15cm prints – Approximately R250

Please note: These printing prices are "cost price" to CanD B Photography, and are subject to change according to minimal supplier price increases. These prices only apply to photographs taken on your wedding day and are valid for one order i.e. all the photos you want printed at the above mentioned prices need to be ordered together in one order, not in batches.

Please note: If required, the hour can also be broken up into 2, adding half before and the other half at the reception etc. Extra hours at reception can also be requested on the wedding day itself at the reception, if required, provided I do not have another function or wedding afterwards.

Coffeetable book:
These are approximately A4 in size, opened sideways in a Landscape format, and can include between 120 and 170 photographs. The cover is hard and personalized with the client's name and wedding date on the front, and the bac is black. Inside, the photos are printed onto softer (magazine type) pages. Prices include the layout and designing of the photo pages, as well as 2 changes and the printing of the book itself.

Personalised Storybooks:
Storybooks are hard covered albums, with photo layout designs printed on hard pages inside. Books are quoted individually according to the dimensional and quantity requirements of each client. Please contact me directly to get a quote for a storybook.

VCD (Video Slide Show):
A CD slide show of all your best wedding photos, transitioning through with your favourite songs (can be played on most DVD players and computers).
